Using Coupons

Postby pekelney » Tue Nov 27, 2007 6:42 pm

Hi,

Is there a way to make a coupon generally valid for an entire order, but be able to exempt certain products from the discount? We want to be able to create a member discount for all except some donation products.

You can not make a coupon for everything except a few items unless you select all the products you want the coupon to apply to and assign them to the coupon.

I have added all products (except our wine clubs) to a coupon, and set it to have a minimum total purchase of $500.

If I add ONLY wine clubs worth $500 or more, it woks as designed. But if I add another product (no matter what the cost) it applies the coupon amount.

Shouldn't Shop Site only look at the products that are assigned to the coupon when determining the minimum cart value?

Here is a link to see what I am talking about:

I am using v3.8

Thanks for any clarification.
