trying to add flash to my site

what is the easiest way to add .swf files to a shopsite site? Is it possible to enter the code through shopsite---pages---edit page content---and then enter the code in the "text 1" box? If not, where should the code go? As a note, i am extremly new to html and our site has never had any flash files before, not sure if that matters. thanks!!

I just added a flash file (.swf) in the text 1 and it worked.
The following is the code I entered in the text 1.


Change the size and path to the file.

thanks for the reply. i uploaded the necessary file and i still have a problem. If i type in the correct place on the server in url bar (eg. www.mysite.com/store/file/flash/file.swf)....it works, no problem. Now, if i use the code given to me above and enter the correct information, all i get is a blank black box in firefix and nothing in ie. any ideas?
