Better search options

Postby mtgotraders » Tue Oct 23, 2007 7:31 am

On my website I have many customers wanting to sort products by the ones in stock/prices/etc. but since it is .cgi script there is no easy way to do this in shopsite. I would really appreciate a better way to add search fields to my website to allow customers to do more specific searching/sorting. .cgi is good for most website but I really need a better solution unless there is a way around this. Any ideas/help is appreciated and I hope i'm not the only person that would like to see better search options.

In ShopSite 9 once the results are displayed the shopper can click to have the results sorted by relevancy, price, or alphanumerically

How about in stock or not? That is one of the biggest requests i've had is to be able to only show products that are in stock. The price sorting is also a huge request i've had so thanks so much for adding that support.

Is there a way to do this in previous versions of ShopSite?
