Pages not being regenerated in sidebar layout

Postby vtwinsports » Wed Oct 24, 2007 8:53 am

Ok, I put together a shop with 5 pages.

Published the shop and saw everything okay.

I deleted two pages and renamed one page.

I regenerated and published the site.

The main page STILL shows the links to pages that were deleted and DOES NOT show the new name.

If I click on the link with the old name, it takes me to the new layout with the reduced page count (3 total) and then the new name.

It functions but I still cannot make it appear correctly.

The icon in the upper left goes to:http://elitesportbike.bizland.com/store
The new page (renamed) links go to:http://elitesportbike.com/store

How do I make the icon go to:http://elitesportbike.com/store?

I am using the Sidebar layout.

When you deleted two pages, did you delete your index.html page (ShopSite home page)? If you had deleted the ShopSite home page, but did not create a new one, then it is likely that you are viewing the old home page. If this is your situation, you can change one of your ShopSite pages, or create a new page which has the File Name 'index.html.' Go to Pages > Edit Page Content, and the File Name field is in the Advanced Info section on the page.

Lauren,

I agree that it is going to the old start page, but I cannot find the index.html file listed, either new or old. I did not delete the index.html page.

My page names are:
/store/page1
/store/page5
/store/page6

I will turn to my ISP to find the index.html page and delete it.

Thanks,
Robert
