Stop a publish in progress.

Is their anyway to stop a publish in progress? How about telling what stage the publish is at. We have 28000 items, and depending on what I am doing it can take a 1-45 min to publish. When I find I did something wrong and want to stop the publish, it ends up being a long publish.

Only if you have server access so you can kill the particular process. The web server (browser) starts the process but then has no control over it.
