Can you have shipping by currency & base plus shipping?

Hi gang-

Kinda new to Shopsite and I have a quick shipping question. I use shopsite 7.1, Manager.

I offer three types of shipping - ground, 2nd day and next day. It is shipped based on currency.

I need to add a handling charge of $25.00 just to the next day shipping option.


When I change the shipping option to 'base plus shipping' and then go to my products and add the $25 on the new shipping panel, it wipes out all other shipping options and in the shopping cart the customer can now only check out using the next day option for $25. It doesn't have any other shipping option and no longer determines shipping by currency but just offer the flat $25.

Is it possible to use both shipping options together. Can I calculate my shipping by currency for all my orders and add a $25 handling fee just for 'next day' shipping?

Any help would be most appreciated.

Only one ShopSite shipping method may be enabled at a time so you couldn't have both the Currency and Base Plus methods enabled at the same time. Since only the "next day" shipping method has the $25 handling charge why not just add it to the cost of the next day shipping table? There is no separate breakout for Shipping or handling in the shopping cart so the shopper will still see the same shipping charge whether you have handling added as a separate item or include it in the base shipping cost.
