Shopsite Adding Quoation Marks to Description

Postby mws james » Fri Sep 21, 2007 11:51 am

Hello All,

I have added product descriptions to my products via the database in an excel spreadsheet.
I did not have quotes in the product descriptions, but when I uploaded the database and published it there were quotation marks added to BOTH the Product Description AND More Information Text.
This makes the pages look awkward, and I can't seem to figure out how to rectify this issue.

Website is - www.MidwestStereo.com

Can anyone please help me fix this?

Thank you and best regards,
James Cristia

ShopSite did not add these quote marks, they were probably in the file that you uploaded. They were likely added by whatever editor/spreadsheet you used to edit the file that you uploaded. This is a common problem with Microsoft Excel, for example. See the following ShopSite Knowledgebase article for more information and for workarounds:
