Can I Create an order from the back office?

Hopefully this is something easy that I just haven't been able to find.

We often get phone orders. We'd ideally want to run those through shopsite so the inventory would get tracked.
Is there a way to enter the order and payment from the back office?
(Like creating a gift certificate from there, but for payments.)

Also is there an easy way to void shipping charges for items that will be picked up?

There is no way to do either of these within ShopSite. What I have seen merchants do is create one page in their store, which lists every product on it. That way, when they get a phone order, they can easily add all the products to the cart from one page. You do not have to link to the page that you list all of the products on.

Some merchants will create a custom page and product template so that the products are laid out in a spreadsheety type format, where it will list the product name, sku, quantity input box, ordering options, and a checkbox. With the custom templates, you would be able to select the options, and quantities for all of the products the customer would like to order, then add them all to the cart at the same time.

For your second question, if you would like to change the total of an order, you would need to do that directly through the gateway, or other credit card processor that you are using.
