Thanks Loren. ShopSite SC Pro 5.1 only gives me two Generic Payment Options
which I'm using for "Credit Card on File" and "Gift Certificate."
I'm sure the Check feature has been like this for quite some time, but we've
only recently received two orders with the electronic check info filled in.
Why would ShopSite assume that Check means electronic check? I have not been
able to find any reference in the help files saying that Check means
Electronic Check.
Thanks again.

Larry,
Instead of using the ShopSite 'Check' payment method, use one of the
Generic
Payment Options. The Generic Payment Options are the only ones where you
can
remove fields by deleting the text for the field label.

We use ShopSite SC Pro 5.1.
We accept hardcopy personal checks, but don't currently accept
electronic
checks. Recently two cusotmers placed orders by selecting Check as the
method of payment and filled in their Check Routing Number and Check
Number.
We were surprised because these were the first two electronic checks we
had
ever received. I have gone to Preferences --> Checkout and deleted the
words
Check Routing Number and Check Number in the text edit boxes, but they
still
show up on the Checkout page.
How do I get rid of the Check Routing Number and Check Number
descriptions
and fill-in boxes on the Checkout screen?
Thanks
