How to change Pref.

Hi,
I have shop site 5.01 and i need to know how to change the directories listed in the
bottom of the pref. > Hosting Service Configuration section.
i.e. Media directory:
Which file is it to make these changes?

The Media Directory is always a subdirectory of the Output Directory. So the
only way to change the Media Directory is to change the Output Directory. If
you really really want to do this, the setting is in the [your storeid].aa
file located in your ShopSite CGI Directory. The variable whose value you
would change is outputdir.

Hi Loren,
I checked the store.aa file and there is no line in there that corresponds to the listing
in bo in the pref.>hosting Setting.. on the bottom, you know the dir. and paths that are
listed but not changeable
here's what it says
Hosting Service Configuration
OS: FreeBSD
PERL executable path: /usr/bin/perl
sendmail executable path: /usr/sbin/sendmail
Data directory: /home0/guide1/virtual_html/cgi-local/shopsite_data
Output directory: /home0/guide1/virtual_html/shop
Media directory: /home0/guide1/virtual_html/shop/media

Now the last line is what i need to change I think as we upgraded from 4.3 to 5.01 and it
now uses a cgi called ssmimages.cgi, which is core dumping cause it can's fine the buttons

for BO.., it seems to be looking in media, as stated above, but there is no line in
store.aa with that path in it
