ROI Conversion tracker

Postby marduk » Wed Aug 08, 2007 8:26 am

Does anyone know what page in shopsite is a post-checkout page where I need to place ROI tracker? Also does anyone know what shopsite values should I replace "PUT_YOUR_DATA_HERE" with below?

Here is the Shopping.com ROI Tracker I want to put.

<script language="JavaScript">
var merchant_id = '3233473'
var order_id = 'PUT_YOUR_DATA_HERE'
var order_amt = 'PUT_YOUR_DATA_HERE'
var category_id = 'PUT_YOUR_DATA_HERE'
var category_name = 'PUT_YOUR_DATA_HERE'
var product_id = 'PUT_YOUR_DATA_HERE'
var product_name = 'PUT_YOUR_DATA_HERE'
</script>
<script language="JavaScript" src="https://stat.DealTime.com/ROI/ROI.js?mid=314473"></script>

ShopSite Pro stores have javascript variables on the shopping cart screens that can be used for this type of tracking. You would need to do it in the thankyou section of the shopping cart template.
See http://www.shopsite.com/help/8.3/en-US/ ... ables.html
for a list of the variables. There is also a link on that page how to implement this for Google but it should be similar for other tracking systems.

order_id would probably be ss_ordernum

order_amount would probably be ss_ordertotal or ss_subtotal depending on if you want tax and shipping included or not.
