Help - Improving Shopping Cart.

I have researched everywhere and still haven't found the solution. I
have a client who likes to see these features from ShopSite.

The client has ShopSite4 and he's considering of upgrading to
ShopSite6. The client is interesting in improving his shopping cart
system to permit the customer to place an order for multiple recipients
(3 or more addresses), and allows the customer to request a catalog
(with or without ordering), add the number quantity before clicking "Add
to cart", to request specific ship-to or delivery dates, etc.

Are there any ways this can be done? Please advise.
