UPS not calculating shipping charges in Canada

General ShopSite user discussion

Eric,

Send us an email to support@lexiconn.com and we'll see if we can help. Let us know your domain name in the email. We do have an updated USPS script for handling the latest international changes the US Postal Service made recently.

Yes it does.

From here...all those values are defined.......

Lexiconn is great and it looks like they've just offered to help. I suspect you just need an updated version of the module that corrects the International Mail Class names to match what the USPS now requires.

ie. Air Parcel Post = Priority Mail International
Air Letter Post = First Class Mail International

etc.

I've got the new usps2.cgi. How do I replace the old one with the new one? I don't understand the address that's given for adding files to a directory, which is, I think, how I'm supposed to do this.

Is this easy to do? For a simpleton, that is.

With a little -- oh heck, who am I kidding? With a LOT of help from some kindly folks, this issue has been resolved. Thanks to Rob of Lexiconn for finding me and sending me a new usps2.cgi script. Thanks to Chris for answering the call of a frightened, helpless boy in the dark. And thanks to Denise, who stepped up to the scripting plate -- though she couldn't see the plate for her large, pregnant belly -- and made all of this work.

Thanks again to you all.

Lexiconn rules. Denise agrees.

Eric, you crack me up. Chris - thanks for your help. Rob is a rock star, I know he helped me understand some things about the script (and getting the right perl modules installed when *Verio* wouldn't help, despite the fact they are the hosts!) I'm still staring at this big ole belly but it won't be long now... mere days away!
