Collecting e-mail addresses from orders

Postby Kathy » Tue Apr 09, 2002 2:59 pm

Hi,

I'd like to automate collecting my customer e-mails into one list when
their address comes in from an order. Any other way to do this aside
from putting them into Excel manually?

Thanks,
Kathy

Kathy -

You can do that, and much, much more with the Stone Edge Order Manager for
ShopSite. If you are processing more than 10 or 15 orders per day, the Order
Manager will save you a huge amount of time every day.

For more information, see: http://stoneedge.com/OrderManager.htm

If you use Shopsite 6.0, they have a spot for the customer to opt-in to your
mailing list. You can have it checked by default so the customer must
uncheck it or, like me leave it unchecked and make the customer check it to
be included. With Stone Edge, there is a great export tool that you can
specify an export criteria such as opt-in email and the export would be only
people who agreed to be put on your mailing list.

Kathy,

If you are using ShopSite Pro version 6 you can take advantage of an add on
module from BlueHornet networks that will manage every aspect of your email
marketing campaigns.

For more information on this product visit
http://www.shopsite.com/partners-tools.html
Again it is the BlueHornet offering.

We have this working on a few sites with great success.
Here is an example:
www.MotoworldRacing.com

This site uses the BlueHornet system to collect opt-in newsletter
subscriptions as well as catalog requests. Plus with the new ShopSite 6 add
on module it allows the customer to opt-in for the email newsletter
subscription directly from the ShopSite checkout screens.

Once the BlueHornet system captures the opt-in information you can then
create your emails right online using the simple BlueHornet tools and send
to your different email lists.

Visit the site and check it out and call me if you want a free online demo.
You can also try the system throughout your website.
