We have been using Shopsite since 2000 on three of our sites. Some features we do not use as often as others and find it hard to remember all of the steps for example to change a feature. It would be great if there was a "NOTES" button in the backoffice where the user could type in notes or reminders. Just a simple blank text entry field large enough to be useful. The Help screen sort of covers this but we find ourselves spending way to much time searching for the answer. If we were able to type in our own notes in our own format it would make using Shopsite much easier.

Although this may not be exactly what you asking for here is a way you could do it now.

Create a page and give it the name !!!Notes, the Exclamation marks will cause it to appear first in the list of pages. Then just enter your notes in the Text 1 field or if you want you could use different text fields for different types of help. As long as you don't assign the page to any other pages in your store the chance of someone finding it o the web is very remote since it wouldn't be indexed by any search engines since there are no links to the page.
This could also be done with a product, so you could put product specific help in an !!!!Notes product and have other types of help in the !!!Notes page.
