e-Mail, Search shipping or do you have to buy another add on

Why can't we search for shipping in orders. I don't mean shipping address, but UPS or Priority Shipping.

Also, can we get an email when there is a shipping request. Most orders are downloaded, but some need to be shipped. It would be nice to have an email saying customer number 2222 needs shipping. Then you can print the order and ship.

Or do you have to buy an add on program for this as well?

To my knowledge searching by shipping method has never been requested before but we will look at it for a future release.

An email is sent to the shopper and merchant when each order is placed. One of the lines in the email is the Shipping total. It shouldn't be too hard in your email client to setup a filter that looks at the body of the email for the specific shipping methods enabled in your store. Any messages that contain the text of your shipping methods can be placed in a special folder that you can check for orders that need to be shipped.
