Customer API

We just found out that our current Customer database can not communicate with Shopsite or vice versa. We are using the Order API and uploading our inventory currently via XML. We don't want all of our customers to have to Reregister and it is a shame that their Shipping and other information can not be changed by them on the site and then downloaded into our Inventory Mangement system. This seems like a feature that is needed to attract many successful companies that don't want to have to scrap their database to switch to Shopsite.

ShopSite v10 (released today for Linux hosting platforms) supports Customer Registration uploads so that you can import customer data from your old application to ShopSite so that they don't have to re-register. The customer registration downloads now also include more information (such as address info) and the download is also available in an XML format.
