During the checkout processs, we have our shoppers register.
Thus we can add them to a group if they sign up for our club members program.
Register users that check out now that are in our group, get a coupon and get a % off the total of the cart.
As we have about 5000 products in our store and we want to give our club members special prices on 189 products in our store, we would like to see the following enhancement added to the shopsite store.
1) On the products page, add a entry to put in a members price. At this time, you can have price or sale price.
2) On the products page, add a entry to put in the group that gets this members price.
2) Give us the ability to apply that special price to register customers that are part of a group.
So two people are shopping (one member and one non member), they both buy the same thing that is on sale, but for members is 2.00 cheaper than the sale price.
The non member gets the product listed in his cart at sale price. The member gets it listed in his cart for 2.00 cheaper than sale price.
Once your change is in place, I would do the following in the store-
1) Create a group for members.
2) Add the register users to the group.
3) export the product inv to excel sheet. Enter the member price for all the items that we want to have on sale this week for our members.
4) Upload the changes to the store.
