Coupon Exclusion/specific product list

We often offer coupons for most of the items on our website. However, there are quite a few exclusions for each coupon. At the moment, it can get tedious and frustrating when creating the exclusion list for these coupons. One wrong click, and I have to start all over again. Would it be possible to add to the exclusion list by searching for SKU's or product name's like I can when setting up sub-products for an item? When setting up sub-products, I can search for an item, click
"add", and the program adds that item to the list. When adding to the list, I don't have to re-select anything added previously.
