Date/Time based Content Management?

We regularly run 24 hour and weekend sales on our site which 'expire' at midnight on a set date. Does ShopSite (Or do you entend to build) a way to make content and or pages appear and dissapear based on time and/or date? It would be really great not to have to stay up to midnight on sale days and "babysit" our website!

There is no built in way to handle that situation. However since ShopSite pages are static html you might be able to configure a cron job on your server to delete the html pages at a specific time. You would need to contact your host to see if they allow cron jobs or not and if they do they should be able to help or tell you how to do it.

Note that just removing the pages may not stop all orders since the product would be in the search index and if the shopper searched for the product it would display on the search results screen.
