Automated Tracking Information Notifications to Customers

Strongly suggest you add a feature to automatically notify customers by e-mail of order shipment date and tracking information entered into the system.

In PayPal, my assistant merely has to pick the type of delivery service (USPS, UPS, FedEx) from a drop-down menu and enter the tracking number. The system automatically sends the confirming e-mail to the customer that the order has shipped, with the date and tracking information. This saves us a huge amount of time.

Having to append a "note" to the customer's receipt and then manually generate an e-mail takes a LOT of time, and is not something I can delegate to a lower-level employee.

From using Amazon.com and most other online ordering services, customers have come to expect receiving these notices from online merchants and complain when they don't receive them.
