You can't do a product sales report in ShopSite !!!!

Publishing companies need to run sales reports per each product, not per order. I can run a report for the sales per product per customer, but not a product sales report per requested time period for products.

IMPERATIVE to have sales report per product and not per customer. This is the only report I am desperate to find how to do. If I can't run this kind of report I picked the wrong shopping cart and just spent 6 months developing the new site. I made the wrong decision with Shopsite if I can't run this one simple report without having to buy extra add on software which I don't need. I had an open sourse x cart shopping cart where I could run all kinds of reports.

How do I run this kind of report for royalty payments to my companies authors?
