Back Office page and product catagories

I have been using ShopSite for a few years for my on-line art gallery. Each of my products are a one-of-a-kind, and I have a lot of them. Since I represent hundreds of artists I end up with a very large number of pages as well.

It would make my workload much easier if I could be able to "sort" the pages and products into 4-6 groups, with a tabbed interface, in the back office. That way I wouldn't have to scroll through 200 names to add product to pages.

I have these categories set up on the site by using folders but the back office displays them in one very long list...it is becoming unmanageable.
