"UPS OnLine Tool unavailable" message as of 4/12/2011

Starting on April 12, 2011 some ShopSite stores are reporting seeing the error message "UPS OnLine Tool unavailable"

Changing the domain name that ShopSite connects to for the rate quotes to onlinetools.ups.com (the default is www.ups.com) resolves this issue. To change the domain used by ShopSite for UPS rates, edit the shipdata.aa file in the store's ShopSite Data Directory and add the following line:

ups_main_url: onlinetools.ups.com

Note that this solution only works for ShopSite version 8.3.1 and newer.
