How to display only items that are instock?

My client runs a store for reused children's clothing. Often they only have one unit for an item. As people shop, we want to make sure that customers only see products that are actually in stock. How would one do the settings for that? We have entered stock quantity of one, but it seems the system still allows us to order 2 of the item even after someone has already bought it.

Since ShopSite generates static pages the product will always remain on a page until the next time you publish the store. But you can prevent a product from being ordered when it is out of stock. First you must have a ShopSite Pro level store. Then you must turn on inventory tracking on under Preferences > Inventory tracking. The you must set the Quantity on hand, low stock and out of stock settngs for each product. Set the Quantity on hand to 1 and the out of stock at 0. When an item is purchased, (shopper has checked out of the store and made the payment) the quantity on hand will be decremented and when the next person tries to purchase the item they will get an out of stock message when adding it to the cart.
