Custom Search Menu

I want to show a custom menu in a sidebar depending on what is being displayed in the search results. In this scenario, I would have three possible menus. Crystal, Stone, and Findings. If someone searches, Crystals, the sidebar would show the crystal menu, etc.
Is there a JS function built into Shopsite which would aid me in achieving this?
