Playing a video

Does shopsite have any coding that starts a video when the page loads? This my first attempt at this and I can't quit put everything together. I'm trying to play an MP4 file.

ShopSite just outputs html and doesn't care what is in the html. You should be able to embed any type of file, with the standard html code for displaying that type of file, in a text field for a page or product and have it work.

If you are trying to sell access to the file using the Digital Download feature you would upload it under Commerce Setup > Digital Downloads and then assign it to the product you will be selling it from under Products > Edit Product Info. The shopper would receive a link to download the file when they purchase it, but it would not be "played" to them it would be an actual copy of the file that they would download.
