Remove powered by and shopsite logo from custom template

I am able to remove this promo after I publish the page, but my client ... who will do most of the updating ... will not be able to. Looking though the code portion that is pasted into my "maincell" I can't seem to identify what lines are generating this so I can remove it from the template.

It's the default HTML in the Footer, you can edit this under Preferences -> Layout Settings.
