customer comment on v 7.1 feature

after I have integrated the customer registration on all store pages, I have
noted a significant increase in customers who register themselves before
placing the order (customer registration is optional)
I would say, we
have now a 50% rate of registrations.
On the other side, I have switched on -> Commerce setup -> Payment -> [ X ]
When displayed on Shopper Receipts mask the data for: field z in the other
payment methods for the payment method "Bank draft".
For this payment method the customer gives us his bank account number which
is as sensible as a credit card number. The number is completely -
in the order confirmation screen and the orders/payment menues in the
customer profile with this setting.
Here is the customer comment in the last order:
"My account number is not shown in the confirmation screen. Instead -
is displayed. I guess it is a security measure. But, in case that you do not
receive my account number with this order, you can look it up from my last
order 1234. Thank you."
-> This comment clearly shows that we definitively need the option:
"Partially mask the data for: where the last digits/characters of the field
are displayed to the customer as with the credit card number, so that it is
clear _without_ extra explanation that this is a security measure and that
the number is saved.
As far as I recall it, I have pointed this out in an earlier posting in this
forum.
