ssl issue

Loren,
We have installed a new verisign ssl cert on a clients web site and
for some reason when you goto the checkout screen the padlock flashes but
goes away as you continue to finish the order process????
We are using the latest shopsite pro store.

Any suggestions?

Jeff,

You can address your question to anyone, this is a user forum that has a
lot of experienced merchants and designers that can give suggestions on
your HTML issues.

This is not a ShopSite-specific issue. The checkout screen is a secure
page, and all external objects (images and CSS files, for example) must
be references by a secure URL as well, or the browser lock will behave
like that (some browsers with certain settings will also pop up a
security warning message to the shopper). So you need to fix your custom
HTML that you have placed on this screen so that those external objects
have secure https:// URLs.

You have images on the page that are not being referenced by https:, so
even though the page is being accessed securely some items on the page
are not, so the page is not totally secure. You need to make sure that
all images used on a secure page are referenced by their secure url.
