Formatting the Option Finite Text

Does anyone have a clue as to how I could format the Option Finite Text to
create some alignment for the entries? I have several hundred entries with
SKU, Description and Price
Example:
1-04044 DINGHY 5' $256.50;256.50
1-05644 BAUER 8 $256.00;256.50
1-11624 ALDEN OCEAN SHELL $306.00;306.00
1-12828 ALDEN OCEAN SHELL, 2 PERSON $319.50;319.50
1-12828 ALDEN OCEAN SHELL, TANDEM A WHEELS $306.00;306.00

I'd like this to display like this
1-04044 DINGHY 5'
$256.50
1-05644 BAUER 8
$256.00
1-11624 ALDEN OCEAN SHELL
$306.00
1-12828 ALDEN OCEAN SHELL, 2 PERSON $319.50
1-12828 ALDEN OCEAN SHELL, TANDEM A WHEELS $306.00

but no matter what I try - HTML, Spaces, tab characters etc. gets stripped
out and replaced by a single space between the SKU/Description and the
Price.
I can't even find where the Order Option Text is formatted in the SS
templates.

Anyone have any ideas?

Look at the template tags for Ordering Options on this page of the
ShopSite help (Version 7.0)

More than likely you will want to use the tag
[-- Order_Option_Menu Line --]

However if you want to really do something different you may need to use
a Call program and pass it the orderoptions using the tag
[-- PRODUCT.OptionFiniteText --] which just spits out the order options
as they are in the database. Your Call program would then do all
formatting for the output.
