I think you guys should include a Java HTML editor as a textbox
replacement in the backoffice (at least I think they're written in Java).
Something like Editize (www.editize.com) that would take the place of
the ordinary text fields for page info and product info and let
customers format the text as they would in a text editor like Microsoft
Word. It in turn writes the HTML in the background so they don't have to.
That would be an INVALUABLE feature to those who really get scared about
typing all those < and > tags! Especially with links and bulleted lists...
I don't think it would be that hard to impliment especially if you used
an off-the-shelf solution like the one above to just replace your text
boxes in the back office. It would still submit just plain HTML code to
the database.
Any thoughts?
