Assign items - bug or am I doing something wrong?

1. I go to assign item throught a page, I click on products, I choose the
product and click save.
Then I do it all again to add more products and it just erease the last
product I added (instead of adding to the list).
If I just add the products via the "in these pages" in the product page, it
all works fine.
What am I doing wrong?
