Coupon Buy 1 get second 1/2 price

Can this be done?

I have a $19.95 product that is featured in a magazine promotion. I tried
setting the coupon discount to 2 units and gave a discount of $4.99
(shopsite seems to apply the discount Times the number of units).

This works OK for the first 2, what about if someone buys 3 or more?

The number of units is the point at which a coupon begins to be active

not a limit to the number of items it applies to. So when the coupon is
active, because the required number of products were added to the cart,
it applies to all items (to which it applies) on the cart. So they
would get the same discount on the 3rd, 4th etc. products.
