Move to a dedicated or Lexiconn?

We've pretty much outgrown our current host. They have been very helpful
and always went the extra mile, but we've reached our data transfer
limit several times and been charged for overages... and the biggest
thing was server problems a few months ago that had our site down for
the better part of two DAYS. Site was up, but the ShopSite upgrade
bombed so we couldn't get any orders.
Anyway, I'm seriously considering either moving to Lexiconn (which
offers much more data transfer in their plan) or moving to a dedicated
server. I already own a dedicated server that has very few sites (no
ShopSite sites) and all are relatively low traffic business sites.
Server loads stay below 0.5 all the time.
So, should I move to another host that provides support for ShopSite or
just break out and go out on my own? I am familiar with Linux and
installing/updating programs through SSH, as I manage the dedicated
server. The only downside is purchasing support directly from ShopSite
as opposed to just calling a hosting provider when there are problems.
Any opinions?
