Ship,
This is from the license agreement for ShopSite found at
http://www.shopsite.com/help/license.htmlSee paragraph 5 in particular
"Transfer of Software.
The license granted under this Agreement is specific to the Licensed
Storefront for which it was licensed. Once the Software has been
installed on an Internet server, it may not be transferred to any other
person or entity, except together with a transfer of the Licensed
Storefront."
So, if you are selling your entire business the license may go as part
of the business but it may not be sold seperate from the business.
Yes, I work for ShopSite.

Is that the official word from ShopSite or are you
saying that technically it is impossible to sell the
license without permission from ShopSite themselves?

(P.S. Do you work for or formally represent ShopSite in
any way?!)

NO. License are not resellable or transferable. Each license requires
a unique auth file, linked to a specific domain name, so they would not
be able to use the authfile for any store but the one that it was
originally generated for.

Hi
My client has finally decided that they have
out-grown ShopSite. We still have a couple of licenses
for ShopSite® Pro 6.3.0.
Is it possible to sell these things on?
(e.g. On eBay for example)
