Search problem

The ability to add subproducts to our More Info pages was one of the reasons
we switched to Shopsite. However, the use of subproduct listings causes
search results to be pretty much useless for customers. For example, go to
our site at www. freebears.com and search for Baby Fresca. I have setup
Mama Fresca as a subproduct to Baby Fresca. The search results have the
following problems:
1. The price ($10.99) and buy buttons for Baby Fresca do not appear.
2. Mama Fresca is shown under Baby Fresca and the price and buy button for
Mama Fresca ($39.99) is included even though that is not the item that was
searched for.
3. The link to Baby Fresca is shown in the center column under the Mama
Fresca result.

The 3 items above combine to make search results very confusing when using
subproducts. The example we show is for one subproduct and one main
product. If we had put more combinations with other Fresca bears, the
search results would be very long and even more confusing.

I would like to work with Shopsite to come up with a better approach to
showing search results when using subproducts. The best fix would be to not
show subproducts in the search results.

Any suggestions?

We are interested in using the sub-product feature, but don't want to
introduce the types of issues that Gary brings up.

Doesn't anyone from ShopSite have comments/advice?
