Custom Product Ordering Options question

I've got a store that has a need for a customization of a product, or more
specifically 3 detail fields.
For example: font, color and text. The font can come from a drop down list
(about a dozen of those), there are about 40 colors (possibly a drop-down
list) and the text should be a text entry form box. How can I display more
than 1 ordering option for this product?
A similar scenario would be a jacket that you could specify size, color and
the name to be embroidered on. How could all 3 be sent as part of the
order.
I would prefer to NOT allow the end-user to freely type all the fields in a
single text-entry form if possible.

Hi Mark,

this is easy. Edit the product you need the options for and find the "Option
finite text" or "Pull-down Menus" field.

Enter your options as follows

-> Please select your option here;n
Option a
Option b
Option c

-> Please select your other option here;n
Option 1
Option 2 (+2.00 EUR);+2 if you want this option to add 2 EUR to the
total
Option 3 (-1.00 EUR);-1 if you wan this option to make the total
1 EUR cheaper

The free line between the two options will tell shopsite to create 2
separate drop down menues.

In the product page check the box [X] Customer Text Entry, so that below the
option menues also a text entry box in the shopping cart is created.

If you want you can also enter text in the "Order Options Description" field
in the product page telling the customer what you want him to do.
