Hi,

Is it possible (and if so, is it documented somewhere) to configure
a add-to-cart page similar to this one:

http://www.rei.com/online/store/Product ... rn=4501322

- drop-down for size/color/etc
- box for quantity

Thanks,

- dc

shopping cart - why multiple lines for the same product

I notice that adding a second identical product to cart results in a second line
in the shopping card with the same product. Is there an option to have them simply
added to the quantity of the existing line (instead of a redundant line)?

Hello Don,

It's easy, assuming something like this is what you are after:
http://www.davesmotors.com/store/product56.html
Simply place the list you want into the "pull down menus" box. You can
create multiple pull-down boxes like this:
http://www.davesmotors.com/store/product871.html
by leaving a blank line between the values for each set of drop-down box
options.

I don't see why it's not possible... we do it on our more info pages (I
think that's what you're referring to, not shopping cart)...

Look at the bottom of the page... it's just a custom template.

Is that what you were thinking of?
