You can try out a demo of ShopSite 7 by going to this URL
http://shopsite.com/demo.htmlThe Tina's Toys is a manager store so you can see the new features for
manager in that store.
Answers to questions
1. Nothing has change in this regard in ShopSite 7. You could always
create a page database upload file with the proper arrangement of
products and arrange the products in that file. There is no way for
ShopSite to know which products are "new" because there is no date put
into the database for when a product is added.
2. There is no "New Item" graphic functionality. The easiest way to do
this would be to create a custom product template for new items and have
the template include the image.
To get the html for an image you want to include with a product or page
you can go to the Images section of the back office, Upload the image.
Then select the image from the list and Edit image attributes. Copy
the entire text in the edit field and just paste that where you want it
in your page or product or in a custom template.
A couple of new features in version 7 that make things easier are: 1.
you have the ability to have images in subdirectories making it easier
to keep track of a large number of images. 2. There is new Copy Page and
Copy product functionality so that you can duplicate an existing
Page/product and then just make any minor changes that might be required
for the new pages.

Hi,
Please post reply to group on this one.
We need to know a couple of things prior to upgrading from Manager 6.3 to
Pro 7.
1) Does Pro 7 allow you to specify where new products will be added on the
page (before or after existing products)? Currently, when new products are
added, they are added after the existing products on the page by default. I
realized the Arrange items will fix this issue, but it's a major hassle to
keep rearranging items everytime a new one is added.
2) Is there a feature to add a "New item" graphic along side the product
(without HTML coding involved).when is new product is created? If not, then
what's the best way to do this...html??
