),I have just be looking at the order download in xml format.
On one side we are running shopsite which provides an xml order download
with english field names. On the other side we are running a german SQL
based stockkeeping and invoicing program that has a xml file import
functionality, but requires the field names in german according to the
programs field nomenclature.
My (general) question is, if it would make sense to implement a
customization feature for the xml functionality in shopsite. All it would
take is a screen where one could assign the wanted field name for the
download to the existing shopsite field name and maybe the [x] inlude in xml
download yes or no checkbox for each field.
This way, shopsite order data could be easily imported into ANY program in
ANY language that supports xml import.
