testing a site

Postby Regala Consulting » Thu Oct 30, 2003 10:41 pm

I searched through the docs and couldn't find anything on setting the
checkout to a test mode so I can make sure everything works ok but can use a
false card number. ANyone know how to do this?

Does ShopSite assign a confirmation number or order number at the end of a
transaction?

Also, is there a way to allow a user to upload a file to the server?

Thanks,
mike

It depends on what realtime credit card processing gateway you are
using, but generally you have to log into your processor's web interface
to put your cc processing account in test mode. In test mode, most of
the gateways will accept a Visa number of 4111 1111 1111 1111 with a
valid expiration date as a valid card number.
