UPS shipping module and Drop Shipping

We are 100% dropship so passing the UPS module our zip code for shipping is
worthless. I would like to have the UPS module calculate shipping according
to the origin of the vendor rather then from our zip code. I'm thinking that
I can build a table of vendor codes & zip codes and match it against the
vendor code from the product SKU. Then pass the UPS module the vendor
zipcode.
Has anyone done this or have a different solution? Thanks, Vince

You could do this, but it would have to be a custom shipping API script, and
the script would have to interface with UPS directly, as the built-in UPS
shipping in ShopSite cannot accomodate multiple vendor zipcodes.
