Anyone host on their own web server?

Is ShopSite very difficult to host on your own server? We have a RedHat
7.3 server and I've thought of using that to host our site but we
currently use NetnWeb and I've been pleased with them up to this point.
We've just used more than the "allocated" disk transfer and are getting
hit with extra fees. I have 700 GB transfer on my dedicated server so I
know that would never be a problem there... but I wouldn't have the
support options I have with NetNWeb.

I can handle the hardware/os related issues but are there difficulties
with installing, upgrading, maintaining a shopsite installation on a
server? Thoughts? Opinions?

Thanks,

I use Blazenet for my server and contract Shopsite service directly from
Shopsite and the combo works great. I have a huge amount of data transfer
(50 gigs per month) and they don't charge extra. The server is a Cobalt Raq
4 and runs Linux. We also use the server for 3 sites and dedicated e-mail.
