I'm using 6.1 Pro -- and am trying to access Reports by the month for this
year.

I am able to access monthly reports for last year ... but where's THIS year?

From Reports if you View History you get numbers for Today, This Month, and
This Year. If you then select View Last Year you get the month by month
summary. That summary is not available for the current year, only the
previous.

It seems odd to me that you can receive monthly reports for last year, but
you can't receive them for the current year.

My client wants to have a breakdown by month for this year, just like last
year's report.

I would like to request that current-year monthly reports be made available
in future versions of ShopSite. Surely it can't be that difficult.
