I upload changes/additions to our 7700+ MS Access products db daily to our
ShopSite Pro store. Each Access product record has a "Status" field into
which I enter a date in (the date I added or changed the record). I created
a query which selects records for upload based on the "Status" field
criteria. Today's upload criteria is Between "20030727" And "20030728" -
This criteria selects only records with a "Status" field between 7/27/2003
and 7/28/2003. I simply edit this "Status" field criteria depending upon the
dates I want included in the upload.
Each of our 7700+ audiobook products has a unique SKU. It is important when
you are uploading to ShopSite, that you make sure that each product has a
"unique product identifier" (SKU or NAME) otherwise you may add duplicates
of items you already have at your Web site.

We rarely delete our database. We use the product upload and upload
tab/comma delimeted files with our new products all the time. Never had
a problem.

Loren,
We are using shopsite 6.3 and have 5000+ products on our site. We have
picked up a new supplier and want to add their products to the site as
well.
Can we upload the products (already in the proper format) to the site
without bothering the existing products? It is not important to us that
all
shopsite fields are completed before the upload takes place. We are more
or
less looking to get the bulk of the information into the system so that
it
can be assigned pictures etc. We have had some experience with product
uploads in the past, but we have not tried it where we didn't delete the
database prior to the upload. We appreciate your help.
