Text covering images

Hello,

I seem to have a bug that is causing my product text to cover over my
images. It seems to be happening more and more frequently. It doesn't
happen on the same products, it just intermittently happens on different
products as I click around. If I reload, it then lays out fine.

Anyone else want to take a shot at this and click around? Let me know what
you see and what operating system/browser you are using.

Has anyone had any experience with this themselves? I would greatly
appreciate any input.

I've seen that before in Internet Explorer, just an IE bug, I don't think there
is anything you can do about it in the HTML since the HTML seems to be correct
in these situations. If it's happening more and more often then maybe that
means that you can re-install or upgrade your IE browser and see if that helps.

Loren,

I've just upgraded my IE from to 6.0. The problem is still getting worse.
Out of the first 10 pages I viewed 8 of them had multiple pictures covered
by text. Is it possible that incorrect HTML could be causing this and if so
what should we look for? What else could be the cause?

Thank you for your input!

You can run the page through an HTML syntax checker, there are several
on the web, but when you can reload and the problem goes away, I doubt
that it is caused by HTML problems.

So, if it is probably not caused by HTML and I have the newest, most up to
date IE and it is still happening (as it is happening on quite a few other
computers) What else could it be?

Wendy,
I ran the page http://www.traditionsjewishgifts.com/challahplates.html though
the html checker at http://www.htmlhelp.com/tools/validator/ and it reported
numerous errors. Some such as missing alt tags are minor and can be ignored but
but there were also nesting issues so at least one table wasn't working
correctly. Try creating a page with just a couple of products on it and then
run that page through the checker and see what errors are reported. Then fix
those problems and see if it helps.
