Add to cart QTY field- orderanywhere

How do I create a form, with a spot for entering quantity of item, in an
order anywhere situation, a custom page I created. The trick is, I want to
be able to leave a quantity empty and have it NOT add to cart.

If there are two items listed on the page, asking to enter quantity for one
or both items, if you leave one blank, or enter zero, it will still put it
into the cart. If you chose quantity of 1 for first item, and left quantity
blank for second item, it will put second item in the cart anyway. If you
put zero for second item, it will put it into cart with quantity zero.

I want to be able to leave the quantity blank and have it NOT add to cart,
and if enter zero and have it NOT add to cart.

Here is a sample of two different ways to add (or not add) just one item to
the cart, this does not work as desired for me:

I tried with itemnum and with sku but no luck yet.

Any suggestions?
