Cross Sell Alignment or Other Options

I'm new to Shop Site so bare with me if this is a dumb question. I have many
products that are groups, same description different SKU's & prices. What I
find works to a point is creating a main Product with description info and
image, no SKU, or price. Then I create all of the products in the group and
Cross Sell them from the main product. What I don't like about this is the
alignment of the cross sell list is butt ugly! Anyone know how I can align
sort of in a four column table - desc, price, order, checkout? Here's a link
to my site that shows how ugly it is
http://www.ahoycaptain.com/shop/epifanes.html.

I did it this way because I couldn't figure out how to not display the
Price, Order & Checkout on the main Product. If I could do that, then I
wouldn't have to use Cross Sell.
Anyone have any ideas, please email me at vince@ahoycaptain.com.
Thanks

Hey Vince.

The first thing I would suggest to clean-up the appearance is to remove all
the [Order] and [Checkout] items from all pages.

Add the [Checkout] to the header at the top of your page like this:

Click Store Preferences, Page Header & Footer. Add the following to your
header and then Save Changes.

<a
href="http://www.ahoycaptain.com/cgi-bin/sb/order.cgi?storeid=*22c1630a4e87b
15865b19014c4e784675f506e&function=show">
<img src="http://www.ahoycaptain.com/store/media/view_cart.gif"
border="0"></a>

Note: The name of the button is view_cart.gif (you cannot see the _ in the
above link.)
Note: The above link is to YOUR STORE.

Then go to Product, List All Production, select all by holding down the
shift key while clicking on the first then the last product, PowerEdit,
Layout, "View Cart Button", set the Global option, click on Proceed. Set
the Image dropdown to "none". Save Changes.

Repeat the above but change the "Add to Cart Button" to Image:
add_to_cart.gif

Publish your store.

To make this the default setting for new products, do this:

Select Preferances, Store Text, Store Pages. Change [Add to Cart] and [View
Cart] as above. Click OK.

I hope this helps.
