How to Know When Visitor Leaves?

Postby Larry Bohen » Tue Feb 18, 2003 6:08 am

Is there anyway to know when a visitor, to our Web store, leaves? We don't
use pop-ups, but I am thinking I'd like to insert a popup when the visitor
has decided to leave our site.

there are a lot of spam - type sites that do that using javascript. if you
run across one (im sure you have) view the source to see if there is
anything you can learn from the page code.

hope that helps

There are a lot of sites on the net that have collections of free Javascript
code, one I like is javafile.com, they even have a category for pop-up windows,
although if you don't find what you are looking for there, there are plenty of
other sites like this that you can find using a search engine.
